Terms and Conditions, Paris trips, 2006 General conditions
The person booking the trip is responsible for reading the general conditions
and all other information carefully. They are also obliged to make all members
aware of these conditions.
The agreement is official for the traveller(s) when you have signed the registration
form and sent it to us and we have received full payment. We require the agreement
by letter or fax signed by all applicants.
Length, program, and modifications of the trip
The tours are based on the information available to us just before publishing.
It could be necessary to change the program in case of unforeseen circumstances
such as weather conditions, changed timetables, natural disasters, political
conflicts and cancelled skating events
It is not possible to cancel or replace a trip when the nightskate has been
called off or the character thereof has changed for reasons other than the
normal cancellation conditions.
The tour manager reserves the right to change the original route, the skate
program, the daily agenda, hotel arrangements and transport. You will hear
from us immediately if the date of departure changes. If we have to cancel
the tour due to unforeseen circumstances, we will do everything within our
power to offer you a comparable tour.
It is obligatory that you take out travel accident insurance. We advise you
to take out cancellation insurance as well.
For Paris you must be an advanced skater having a very good degree of braking ability. Speak to an instrtuctor before going about the general skating requirements.
If you are not able to meet the minimum skating requirements for your own
safety and the safety of the other skaters, we can refuse you the right to
Skating protection It is your sole personal responsibility to wear the right protective gear.
We strongly discourage skating without protective gear and strongly encourage
wearing a helmet, wrist guards, elbow and knee protection.
Every year accidents occur because skaters are not wearing the right protective
Skate at your own risk Attention: You skate at your own risk. You are
solely responsible for wearing the right protection and for the condition
of your equipment. We do not accept any responsibility for damage – no matter
what kind of damage – resulting from skating accidents. Our liability for
damage resulting from death or injury is limited or excluded by the valid
international pacts. We do not accept either liability for damage with claim
for compensation which rest on an insurance or government benefit.
It is possible to send another person in your place. Contact us as soon as
possible so that we know who the other person is. Modification fee: £25
per modification. If more than one modification is made at one time, the price
remains the same.*

Cancellation by Citiskate
If there are not enough participants, we cancel the tour. In this case, we
inform you four weeks before departure and we immediately refund the money
you have paid.
Cancellation by you
We charge the following cancellation fees if you decide to cancel:
Cancellation 56 days before departure: 25% of the trip cost amount per person
Cancellation from 56 (inclusive) to 28 days before departure: 50 % of the
trip cost amount
Cancellation from 28 (inclusive) to seven days of departure: 75% of the trip
Cancellation from 7 (inclusive) to the day of departure. 100% of the travel
You are required to submit your cancellation by letter or e-mail. You can
decrease your risk under certain circumstances (illness, etc.) by taking out

may cancel a part of the tour. The good news is that we never cancel the whole
tour because there are more than a thousand and one nice activities along
the route. The costs of using public transport or of driving your own car
during the trip are your own.
